With a BA Fine Arts in Music History from Syracuse University, Jennifer Davis has had a truly remarkable career devoted to furthering the Arts and Music. As the Assistant Manager and Events Coordinator of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex Museum in Manhattan, Jennifer worked alongside many creative talents (including Yoko Ono, coordinating the museum’s premier John Lennon Exhibit), while overseeing a marvelous and technologically ground-breaking display and collection of Blues and Rock and Roll historical artifacts. Then, having been inspired by all of the various music history knowledge-seekers that passed through the museum, Jennifer turned her attention toward music education, becoming a teacher’s assistant at a Northern New Jersey music therapy studio, as well as the Theater Manager at The Brooklyn Music School. Jennifer’s time spent at both locations led her to become the Manager of the well-known School of Music at the 92nd Street Y on the upper east side of Manhattan. During her tenure at 92Y, Jennifer worked among some of the world’s most accomplished teaching artists, while facilitating the music education of nearly 900 students per year. In addition to her responsibilities as Admissions and Operations Manager at The Ridgewood Conservatory, Jennifer is strongly involved in developing new programs for students of all ages, including the creation of the Imagination Summer Vacation performing arts camp, Sunday programming, and the Adult extension program, as well as the revitalization of The Rock Shop at TRC.
