B.F.A. -Dance, Choreography, University of NC at Greensboro; Instituto San Isidro, Madrid. Studied dance with BJ Sullivan, Gerri Houlihan, Eluza Santos, Jan Van Dyke, Shani Collins, Wesley Williams. Currently a dancer and Teaching Artist of the Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre / Notes in Motion Education Ensemble in NY, and Teaching Artists for National Dance Teaching Tour US, and holds a K-12 Dance Teaching license in both NC and NY. Formerly on the dance faculty of The Griot Circle, The Dalton School Encore After School Program, Chuck Davis and The African American Dance Ensemble, PS 198 in The Bronx NY, and numerous guest teaching appointments in the U.S. and South Korea. Choreographic experience includes Greenbrier Valley Theatre’s Summer Drama Camp, White Plains Performing Arts Center Summer Broadway Camp and ArtsCenter. Has performed in the U.S. in the national tour of Chuck Davis & AA Dance Ensemble and the northeast tour of Brief Shorts, and internationally in the PAS Jazz Dance Company of Seoul, DzaNonmo Dance Co. of Ghana, and has performed as Abby Cadabby in the U.S./Canada tour of Sesame Street Live. Has danced at such famous venues as the ​American Dance Festival, Dance Africa, Jacob’s Pillow, Dance Theatre Workshop, Ailey Citigroup Theatre, and Alliance Francais, and her choreography has been presented in NC, NYC and Seoul, South Korea. Credits as a singer and actress include multiple tours, international performances, New York and regional performances, as well as in film, on television and voiceover.
