Our youngest pro, Saquan Williams, brings a new level of energy, excitement, and love of both Hip-Hop and Tap to our young dancers! As a young performer, Saquan was nominated at The PaperMill Playhouse Rising Start Awards for his roles as Scarecrow in The Wiz in 2007 and as Mereb in Aida in 2010. Saquan’s early hip-hop training began under the guidance of his brother Derrick Ladson. He took part in the PaperMill Playhouse’s Summer Conservatory where he was introduced to tap and taught hip-hop to the junior plus conservatory participants. He traveled with Centenary’s Children’s Theatre Tour, performing shows for children and providing theatre workshops for ages 5-14, and took on lead roles at the Shawnee Playhouse. Saquan has taught hip-hop to conservatory participants at the Papermill Playhouse, taught workshops for Centenary’s Children’s Theatre Tour, and ran the dancing, acting and singing theater camps for the Shawnee Playhouse. After graduating college, Saquan spent two years happily dancing down the world-famous Main Street USA at Walt Disney World.
